Happy New Ears - Education Program


Arcko Symphonic Ensemble offers student workshops, professional development and interactive concert incursions to help music teachers and students expand their musical horizons and music-making potential.

The workshops are hands-on, involving students and/or teachers. Tailored workshops for specific requests or themes can also be arranged.

Programs:

Graphic Scores Explored: compose and perform your own graphic score

Expanded Soundscapes: understanding and using extended techniques, for strings, percussion, piano or woodwind

Conducting New Music: beat patterns, interpretation of graphic or complex scores, pathways to rehearse new music

Interactive Concert: Arcko Symphonic Ensemble performs a concert at your school with explanation of works and question time
